Artist Biography

Raduan Man is a celebrated Malaysian contemporary artist recognized for his unique approach to traditional printmaking and painting techniques. Born in 1978 in Selangor, Malaysia, Raduan graduated with a BFA and MFA from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Shah Alam, Selangor. He further pursued his studies at the University of Wolverhampton, UK, earning a Doctorate in Philosophy in Fine Art in 2010.

Raduan's works often depict nature, including fauna and landscapes, showcasing his innovative fusion of painting and printmaking. His series of works exploring the theme of "man and his environment" are particularly notable. Raduan has stated that his creative process, which involves the use of various materials such as canvas, aluminium, and engine oil, is equally as important as the final product itself.

He has participated in various group and solo exhibitions locally and internationally, including in the UK, USA, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
